WHAT IS THE OZARK VALLEY TRIATHLON?
Two triathlon distances, international and sprint, plus an aquabike category held at Lake Wedington Recreation Park. The park is located 13 miles west of Fayetteville and is one of the most natural settings for a triathlon in the region. Both spectators and participants can enjoy the natural beauty of the area and combined with unique finisher medals, post-race food, awards and prizes all make this race one that people do not want to miss.

WHAT ARE THE COURSES LIKE ?

• Sprint Distance - 400 yard swim, 13 mile bike, 2 mile run

• International Distance - 1,000 yard swim, 19 mile bike and a 4 mile run

• Aquabike - 1,000 yard swim, 19 mile bike

The swim takes place in Wedington Lake, the bike courses are on paved roads outside the park and both runs are held on a two-loop course inside the park on paved roads. The sprint distance run course does not go up the infamous "hill from hell"!
